Limitless Movie Review: Any Good?

Limitless is about a man who wants to change his life and improves his writing career but finds himself with a writer’s block. An aspiring author, he wasn’t able to write anything until he met a friend who gave him NZT. NZT was a new drug that successfully restores and enhance his intellectual capability. In a snap, the author whose name is Eddie was able to recall every word he reads and everything he sees. This moviehas been just as well received as movies such as Inception.

Eddie figures out that the drug is giving him a superpower mind and as long as he is taking it, he can do extraordinary things like understanding complex equations learn any language he wants in a day or impress anyone he meets with his intelligent mind.

Eddie becomes a big shot as he take Wall Street and winning millions by playing with it. He was soon joining a mega mogul named Carl Van Loon and as he continues to attract attention, so he attracts the attention of some people who is after his NZT stash. As he finds himself in danger with this people, so is his life with the side effect of the drug. in the end, Eddie was able to use all of his supplies to fight his enemies and hide from any possible police investigation that might incriminate him.

Rotten Tomatoes give the film a review of 70% based on 168% critics. It is an average rating of 6 out 10 which is actually a positive review for the film. From Metacritic, the film garnered a rating of 59 based on 37 reviews which is still positive. Most reviewers point at Bradley Cooper as one of the best part of the movie and Roger Ebert says that despite being not a terrific movie- it is good enough and intriguing. He gave the film a rating of 2 and a half star.
